Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a continuous molten metal pouring to molds, by changing the flowing direction of molten metal with a plural number of flow routes of a flow route changing body and by stopping temporarily molds of mold carrier lines installed at a location below the molten metal flow route through which the molten metal is poured.
CONSTITUTION: Two mold carrier lines which are driven independently below a changing body 46, have two carrier bases 60 and 61 which are connected successively and each of which has two left and right molds 62 loaded on the base. When a mold 62b of a carrier base 62 reaches the location blow a molten metal flow route 55, the carrier line is stopped and the molten metal is poured to another mold 62a from the flow route 55. When the pouring is completed, the carrier line is driven and another mold 62b on another carrier base 61 is stopped at the location below another molten metal flow route 56. Then, the flow route changing body 46 is moved to the right side and the molten metal is poured to the mold 62b from the flow route 56. In this way, two carrier lines are moved alternately and poring of molten metal is made continuously.
