Abstract
PURPOSE:To confirm the exposure operation of a camera, by leading a part of the luminous flux, which comes from an object during the exposure of a film, onto a photoelectric converter of a focusing detector to detect the luminous flux. CONSTITUTION:For example, a photodetecting unit 31 is provided in a single- lens reflex camera main body 25, and the unit 31 receives the incident luminous flux of a lens 24 through a quick return mirror 27a and is used for the detection of the focusing state. Further, the unit 31 is constituted so as to receive the reflection light from a film 34 at an exposure time. When the focusing processing is performed and the exposure is performed, an electric charge corresponding to the quantity of receiving light is integrated in a signal processing circuit 32 in respect to the detection light of the unit 31, and the integration holding value is compared with a reference voltage to indicate whether the exposure is proper or not. Thus, the photodetecting unit for focus detection is switched and used to confirm whether a diaphragm controlling system and a shutter are operated surely or not.
