Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to save energy easily without reforming an electrical circuit of an air conditioner by a method wherein a thermosenser is heated and cooled by a thermocouple type heat generating and cooling element to thereby control the air conditioner in an energy saving manner. CONSTITUTION:The thermosenser capable of opening and closing a thermocontact 2 is heated and cooled by the thermocouple type heat generating and cooling element 5 to thereby correct the operating point of the thermosenser 1. The element 5 is so formed that it is driven by the output of an amplifier 12 in a control circuit 4. The control circuit 4 is formed of a microcomputor 13 and the amplifier 12 and operates such that the output of the microcomputor 13 is converted into an analogue signal through a DA converter 14 and the above mentioned element 5 is controled by the output of the amplifier 12 which has received, as an input, the analogue signal.
