Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the life of an adsorbing body compared to a calorie supply amount by intermittently increasing one supply calorie by a desorbing and heating gas to reduce heat loss.
CONSTITUTION: A honeycomb like adsorbing body is attached to the periphery of a rotary center shaft 1 and divided into a flow region 5 passing a gas 4 to be adsorbed containing an org. solvent or the like and a flow region 9 passing a heating gas 8. The adsorbing body 2 is rotated and the gas 4 to be adsorbed and the heating gas 8 are alternately passed therethrough. When regenerations at a low temp. are carried out predetermined times and the residual ratio of a high b.p. substance to the adsorbing body becomes high, heating temp. is adjusted by a heating apparatus 7 and the heating gas is heated to a high temp. to carry out regeneration.
