Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease a number of calked parts in a pulley and increase its reliability, by securing two sheets of steel plate pulley elements through calked parts and hole parts and forming the calked parts and the hole parts to long shape in dimensions circumferentially long while radially short. CONSTITUTION:Calked parts 8 and their corresponding hole parts 9 are formed to oval shape, and a rise-up part 10 is provided so that a bottom may be formed to the sheave part of a pulley wound with a belt, thus two sheets of pulley elements 7 are calked to assemble the pulley 6. As a result, stress in the vicinity of the calked part can be reduced to about 1/2 for tension by the belt.
