Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to control correctly without any time delay by a method wherein a proportioal constant and an integral constant are read in accordance with the parameter of operation and are operated by a rich signal and a lean signal in the air to fuel ratio control system controlling air bleed or the like. CONSTITUTION:A central processor 14 figures out the parameter of operation from a function memorized in an ROM15 by the signal of a number of revolution and the signal of a vacuum, both memorized in the RAM16, and reads out the proportional constant P and the integral constant I in accordance with read operation divisions to memorize them into the RAM16. Next, a compensating value for the opening and closing rate of a solenoid valve 9 is operated from the P, I values of the RAM16 and a rich or lean decision signal lambda by the predetermined function of the ROM15. Accordingly, the air to fuel ratio may be controlled correctly and accurately without causing any hunting or time delay for respective operating conditions by a method wherein the P, I values as well as the divisions of the operating conditions which are to be set with the central processor 14 are selected properly.
