Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an SN ratio by providing the 1st circuit which has a longer charging time than a discharging time and integrates only a positive signal, and the 2nd circuit which integrates only a negative signal, and then connecting the integral resistance of the 1st circuit to the discharging resistance of the 2nd circuit. CONSTITUTION:A diode 3 flows a current thrugh resistances 2 and 4 to lower internal impedance. A capacitor 9 for a negative signal is biased by a resistance 5. A capacitor 10 for positive signal integration is biased by a resistance to a lower voltage than the capacitor 9 by the terminal voltage of the diode 3. The positive signal charges the capacitor 10 through the resistance 2 and diodes 3 and 8, and the capacitor 10 is discharged through the resistance. A negative signal charge the capacitor 10 negatively through the resistance 2 and diode 6, and it is discharged through the resistance 5. The input terinal of a voltage comparator 11 is connected to those capacitors 9 and 10. Consequently, amplitude discrimintion between the positive and negative signal is performed and the positive and negative signals are added to obtain an amplitude discriminating circuit which has an excellent SN ratio.
