Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce frictional resistance so as to transfer a highly condensed pulp liquid smoothly, by providing a gas supplying section at a bent section of a piping so that the pulp liquid may flow in a state supported by the supplied gas. CONSTITUTION:In the piping 5 for transferring a highly condensed pulp solution or the like, a steam supplying apparatus 6 is arranged in such a manner that a steam layer 12 is formed along the inner circumferential surface of an arcuate section 5b of a bent pipe section such as an elbow section, and a steam is sent out from a steam diffusing box 7 adjacent to the apparatus 6 via a rubber plate 9 and a porous plate 10 to form a steam layer on the inner surface of the pipe. Thus, as the solution would not strike directly the inner wall surface, and the friction is reduced, even the highly condensed liquid can flow readily. Alternatively, in addition to a steam, air can be used to obtain the same effect.
