Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove unbalance of voltage of capacitors of a DC electric power converter by a method wherein series circuits of resistor and semiconductor switch are connected in parallel to capacitors. CONSTITUTION:The series circuits consisting of the semiconductor switch 6', the resistor 7', and the semiconductor switch 6'', the resistor 7'' are connected in parallel respectively to the capacitors 5', 5'', and currents in loads 2', 2'' like DC motors are controlled respectively by semiconductor switches 3', 3''. By controlling the semiconductor switches 6', 6'' at the proper duties monitoring the voltages of the capacitors 5', 5'' with detectors, the voltages of the capacitors 5', 5'' are made to hold balance always.
