Abstract

PURPOSE:To generate an alarm signal which appeals easily to man's sensation with low electric power consumption by flickering a pilot lamp at the repetitive periods of charging and discharging of a capacitor which is charged by the electric current flowing therein from a battery. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 2 connecting in series to a battery 1 is turned on, electric power is supplied to load 15, and the electric current corresponding to a battery voltage EB is flowed through a resistace 3 and a diode 4 into a capacitor 5. When the output voltage V1 of an error amplifier 9 drops below the noninverted input terminal voltage Vr', a comparator 10 inverts and a switching element 11 conducts, then the electric charge of the capacitor 5 discharges. Thereafter, when the output voltage V1 of the amplifier 9 rises higher than the non- inverted input terminal voltage Vr'+DELTAVr' of the comparator 10, the comparator 10 inverts again. Thereafter, this operation is reiterated, and a lamp 14 connected to the output terminal of the comparator 10 flickers at the frequency corresponding to the battery voltage.
