PURPOSE:To obtain the titled apparatus which performs fusion-sealing efficiently, by adhering a ribbon heater on the face opposite to a receiving plate of a heat radiating plate, connecting a pulse generating circuit thereto, drilling a cooling water channel on the heat radiating plate and generating high temperature heat by a pulse current. CONSTITUTION:A heat radiating plate 12 and a receiving plate 14 are oppositely installed to be capable of contacting and separating freely and a ribbon heater 28 is adhered on the face opposite to the receiving plate 14 of the heat radiating plate 12 via a Teflon sheet 30. A pulse circuit 32 is connected to the ribbon heater, a cooling water channel 34 is drilled in the heat radiating plate, thus a sealing apparatus 10 is obtained. A predetermined length of a synthetic resin sheet 42 to be sealed is supplied by a sheet forwarding mechanism 44, 46 by passing it through the clearance between the heat radiating plate 12 and the receiving plate 14. Then, the sheet is pressed between the heat radiating plate and the receiving plate and sealing is performed by applying pulses of electric current to the ribbon heater 28 from the pulse generating circuit 32.
