Abstract
PURPOSE:To greatly increase descaling at the edge part in brushing of a steel plate, by adding a stage in which only the edge part of the steel plae is brushed. CONSTITUTION:For the continuous pickling line, the 1st rotary roll 5 is set at the upper or lower side of an pickled hot-rolled steel plate 2 along with the 1st rotary brush set at the other side of the plate 2 to touch only the edge part of the plate 2. At the same time, the 2nd rotary brush 4 that touches only the edge part of the plate 2 is set right after the roll 5, and the 2nd rotary roll 6 is set right after the brush 3, respectively. The roll 6 and the brush 4 are set at the upper and lower parts opposite to each other to hold the plate 2. In such a way, the descaling of the pickled steel plate can be greatly increased at the edge part to increase the plate passing speed.
