As a result, a gap t between the casing liner 11 and an impeller 1' can be freely adjusted. Thereby, the exhaust amount can be easily adjusted at a constant rotating speed, and foreign objects trapped in the impeller can be easily removed. In addition, the pump characteristic can be easily adjusted in response to conditions of impurities in the liquid used.
