Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturization of a fuel injection system by providing a fuel distributor in a fuel supply circuit for an injector so that the number of fuel metering solenoid valve is reduced to only one. CONSTITUTION:In a fuel injection system having an injector 2 for injecting metered fuel fed thereto and a solenoid valve 6 for metering fuel fed to the injector 2, a fuel distributor 1 is disposed therebetween. The metered fuel which is fed into a supply passage 51 in a distributing cylinder 50 of the fuel distributor 50, flows into one of distributing passages 52 in the distributing cylinder 50 through a center passage 21 in a distributing plunger 20, one of distributing holes 22 and a distributing lead 23. With this arrangement, the circuit may be simplified and the supply circuit may be miniaturized.
