Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of joints and to prevent leakage of fuel, by fixing injectors to respective mixing bodies for feeding mixture to cylinders arranged in a V-shaped in the manner that they face toward each other, and providing a fuel passage between the two mixing bodies.
CONSTITUTION: In a V type engine used in a motor cycle, cylinders 10, 10 are arranged in a V-shape, and intake passages 12 for respective cylinders 10 are communicated to a surge tank 40 via respective mixing bodies 14. In such an engine, the mixing bodies 14 are respectively formed with a support section 28 on the sides thereof facing toward each other, and an injector 30 is inserted into each of the support sections 28. Upper end portions of the mixing bodies 14, 14 are connected together by a connecting member 32, and a common fuel passage 34 for feeding fuel to the injectors 30 is formed at the central portion of said connecting member 32. Further, fuel passages 36, 36 are branched from the fuel passage 34 in an inverted V-shape and connected to respective injectors 30.
