Abstract
PURPOSE: To form a paint film of uniform thickness free from defects by foam or the like by discharging a large excessive amt. of coating liquid in the absence of air into an inverted vessel to form a downflow film and drying or baking the paint film by hot wind after stopping the discharging.
CONSTITUTION: A rotating and driving mechanism 4 is acturated by the signal of a controlling circuit 14 with a timer, by which a vessel 1 held by a holding mechanism 3 is rotated around the shaft thereof. Further, the timer for coating contained in the circuit 14 starts operating upon starting of discharging of coating liquid 5. In this case, the coating liquid of the amt. much larger than the amt. of the coating liquid is discharged through a discharge nozzle 6 toward the vessel bottom 2b in the absence of air, whereby the downflow film is formed over the entire part of the inside surface of the vessel 1. The excess coating liquid 5a flowed out through the opening part 2a is circulated through a receiving tray 11 to a containing tank 19. Thence, a change-over cock 15 is changed over toward a pipe 8a by the signal from the circuit 14 to blow the hot wind 7 from a hot stove 22 to the paint film 5b on the inside surface of the vessel through a nozzle 8, whereby the paint film is dried or baked while the nozzle 8 is lowered.
