Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of water hammer, by providing a main valve at a portion of a fluid passage, a pressure chamber at the back of the body of said main valve, a pilot valve at the primary side of the fluid passage, and a pressure reducing member which reduces the area of the fluid passage. CONSTITUTION:When the body 23 of a pilot valve is detached from its valve seat 20 and a valve seat hole 19 is opened resultantly, water in a presssre chamber 18 is discharged to the outside from the hole 19. Resultantly, pressure on the primary side of a fluid passage 17 becomes higher than pressure in the pressure chamber 18, so that a main valve body 12 is pushed downward and detached from its valve seat 9. Thus, the main valve a is opened and water on the primary side is made to flow to the secondary side and introduced into the body 28 of a distrubutor valve via an outlet portion 6. Here, a part of the water is carried via a valve body 31, water passage 33 and distributor valve C and discharged from a tank water feed pipe 37 into a water tank A, while other part of water is carried via a toilet water feed portion 37 and a toilet connecting pipe 34 and discharged from a toilet pipe 3.
