PURPOSE:To miniaturize and rduce the weight of a device as a whole by affording to a single hydraulic pressure cylinder functions of both a reciprocating stroke motion and a rotary motion of a rod and a piston. CONSTITUTION:A rod 10 which passes through a head cover 4 toward a reverse side of a piston rod 9 from a piston 6 is provided in a extending condition, and the head cover 4 is made to hold a cylinder body 11 in a fitting condition over the preventrating rod 10 concentrically. Grooves 12 and 12 are formed in a center line direction of the rod 10 on the cylinder 11, which are connected with a pin 13 provided on the rod 10. With this constitution, rotary driving force is transmitted to the cylinder body under a condition allowing a reciprocal stroke, and a rotary motion of the piston 6 and the piston rod 9 can be made possible.
