Abstract
PURPOSE: To realize the energy saving of house by a method wherein the ventilation device is provided under the floor of the house to ventilate during the summer season and to prevent the air from flowing through during the winter season.
CONSTITUTION: During the summer season, when the wind blows in the direction indicated with the arrow A. The pressure of the wind is applied to a windward draft hole 16 to actuate a nonreturn valve 7 to prevent the air from flowing in through the windward draft hole 16. And the air enters through an underfloor ventilating hole 14 in an underfloor space 13 by forcibly opening a nonreturn valve 15. And yet, at the lee and side of the house, the underfloor ventilating holes 14 are prevented the air from passing through by the nonreturn valves 15. As a result, the pressure within the underfloor space 13 rises. On the other hand, the pressure at the draft holes 16 at the lee and side of the house renders to be negative under the influence of the direction of the wind. The difference between the above-mentioned elevated pressure within the underfloor space 13 and the negative pressures at the draft holes 16 causes the air in the underfloor space 13 to discharge through a central chamber 3, a nonreturn valve 4, a draft hole 6, a duct 12 and the draft holes 12 to the outside. During the winter season, a damper 8 is closed by pulling a remote controlling wire 10 toward the direction indicated with the arrow B to prevent the air from passing through, resulting in enabling to prevent the heat from escaping from the underfloor space 13.
