Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct an original document rapidly, by a method wherein both liquids, an erasing liquid comprising mainly titanium oxide pigment, plastic material and solvent and a solution comprising mainly plastic material and solvent, are applied to correcting part. CONSTITUTION:Titanium oxide is mainly used as a pigment and calcium carbonate, zinc white, white lead or lithopone is optionally incorporated therewith. Mixture of one or more sorts of cellulosic resins, alkyd resins and natural resins is used as a plastic material. Solvent is exemplified by organic solvent such as alcohol, ether, chloride or the like. The pigment, plastic material, solvent and optionally additive such as dispersing agent are mixed, thereby an erasing liquid is prepared. Both liquids, the erasing liquid and a plastic solution mainly comprising plastic material and solvent, are applied to correcting part of an original document for thermographic printing.
