Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize favorable fluidized state to establish large turn down ratio and as well as contrive sharp cost reduction by a structure wherein an air dispersion plate equipped at the lower end of a fluidized bed combustion chamber is arranged at the central part of said lower end with the fixed distance apart from a vertical peripheral water-cooled wall of the fluidized bed combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:The tubular fluidized bed combustion chamber 8 is formed by the water-cooled wall composed of a large number of straight water pipes 7 vertically arranged surrounding a fluidized bed 6. The air dispersion plate 10 is arranged at the lower part of the fluidized bed 6 with the fixed distance apart from said water-cooled wall. Owing to the structure as described above, the bending part of water-cooled wall and the installation of refractory material become unnecessary at all. Furthermore, the area of the air dispersion plate 10 is rendered to be smaller than the cross-sectional area at the lower part of the fluidized bed combustion chamber. The air dispersion plate 10 is located at the central part of the bottom of the fluidized bed combustion chamber so as to form a fluidizing zone 11 and a stationary zone 12. The inclination angle of the boundary 13 between the fluidizing zone 11 and the stationary zone 12 is so constituted as to be changed in accordance with the change of load. In other words, the fluidizing zone 11 and the stationary zone 12 can be changed in accordance with the change of combustion load so as to realize spontaneous fluidizing state by changing the inclination angle of the boundary 13 between the fluidizing zone 11 and the stationary zone 12.
