Abstract
PURPOSE:To convey a sheet material always with constant power of conveyance, by winding a flat belt between a drive roller and driven roller, providing a tension roller between said both rollers and applying constant tension to said flat belt. CONSTITUTION:A flat belt 7 is wound between a drive roller 4 and driven roller 5, and a tension roller 6 is arranged between the both rollers 4, 5, then constant tension is applied to the flat belt 7. Then a conveying roller (not shown) is coaxially provided to the driven roller 5 to constitute a desired sheet material conveyer. In this way, when eccentricity or deformation of the conveying roller increases a load to the driven roller 5, a level of tension to be applied to the flat belt 7 by said roller 6 is decreased by causing a slip of the flat belt 7 between the rollers 4, 5, further transmitted power to the conveying roller is reduced to obtain circumferentially constant speed of the conveying roller.
