Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently remove jam in the part of a curved pipe, by transferring a massive granular material accompanied with compressed air through a transfer pipe, providing each air nozzle in a curved pipe part of the tranfer pipe and jetting high pressure air from each air nozzle when the jam is detected in the part of the curved pipe through pressure detection. CONSTITUTION:In the above described device, in which massive granular coal in a bulk banker is accompanied with compressed air, jetted in a transfer pipe 9 through a pipe 7 from an air tank 6, and fed to a boiler 3 through the transfer pipe 9 from a hopper 4, air nozzles 11A, 11B are provided respectively in parts of vent pipes 10A, 10B arranged in the half way of the transfer pipe 9, in such a manner as to inject high pressure air toward the downstream of a flow. Each of the air nozzles 11A, 11B is connected to the air tank 6 through valves 13A, 13B, and a jam is caused in the vent pipe 10A or 10B, when detected air pressure of a pressure sensor 15 reaches a level at least a preset value, the valve 13A or 13B is opened through a control circuit 14 to remove the jam.
