Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to know for sure the life of a battery by reducing electric current consumption in the alarm sound generating circuit after notifying of battery life.
CONSTITUTION: An output is generated from a clock circuit A at the time of alarming, and by this output an alarm current control circuit B operates and the alarm sound is issued from an alarm sound generating circuit C. When the battery voltage drops down to the set voltage, an output is generated from a battery life detection circuit D, and life indication is made by a battery life indication device E. At the same time the alarm current is reduced to a value lower than that in the ordinary time by the alarm current control circuit B. In this way the time from notifying battery life to stopping of the watch becomes longer, and the sound of the alarm changes, which makes battery life known positively.
