Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify a signal transmission system and a monitoring system, by a method wherein opening degree data from their respective opening degree gauges for an upper and a lower gate are changed over by a switch corresponding to the conditions of the two gates to transmit and instruct only either of the opening degree signals of the upper and the lower gate. CONSTITUTION:A method is that, in a 2-stage gate consisting of an upper gate 1 and a lower gate 2, opening degree signals of an opening degree gauge 3 for the upper gate 1 and an opening degree gauge 4 for the lower gate 2 are inputted to a switch 11 to change over the switch 11 by means of the condition signals of the upper and the lower gate. The condition signals are generated through detection of a full closing point, the full opening point of the upper gate, the full opening point of the lower gate, and an upper limit point by means of, for example, a limit switch. Either of the opening degree signals of the upper gate 1 and the lower gate 2 is sent to a control chamber from a gate chamber through a single transmission line to indicate it in an indicator 12 in a common monitoring system, and the condition signals are displayed by a display light 7.
