Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition useful as a molded article, etc., having improved moldability, water vapor resistance, chemical resistance, electrical characteristics, etc., obtained by blending a resin composition of the cyanuric ester type with polyether sulfone or reacting them preliminarily.
CONSTITUTION: 40W99wt% resin composition of the cyanuric ester type, e.g., a prepolymer of a polyfunctional ester and an amine having a molecular weight of 400W600 is blended or preliminarily reacted with 1W60wt% polyether sulfone shown by the formula (P is 20W150; the end group is chlorine, hydroxyl group) in a molten state or by dissolving them in a polar solvent such as methyl ethyl ketone, etc. The preliminary reaction is carried out at 50W250°C in case of the molten state and at 40W230°C in case of the solution state, and a catalyst is used, if necessary. The composition contains usually a catalyst for promoting crosslinking and network formation when it is used.
