Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent securly a rear-end collision, by flickering brake lamps for a suitable period at the initial stage when a brake pedal is worked thereby alarting a driver in a following car. CONSTITUTION:By working a brake pedal, the brake lamps arranged at the rear of a car are flickered, and when the brake pedal is released, the lamps are turned off. An example of such a construction is shown in the figure, in which the brake lamps will be flickered for a suitalbe period at the initial stage when the brake pedal is worked. The brake lamps will be flickered several times with sutable intervals, and thereafter is lighted continuously. Therefore, without pumping braking operation, the brake lamps can be flickered, so that a rear-end collision will be obviated.
