Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily assemble, maintain and control a device, by constituting it so that movement of a mirror is controlled by making both a reference beam and a recording beam incident to one tracking mirror 12. CONSTITUTION:A reference beam from a reference laser 2 forms a spot 5a on an optical disk medium 19 by an objective lens 13 through a lens 7, haft-mirrors 9, 11 and a tracking mirror 12. Its reflected ray goes back, passes through the half-mirror 9 and is made incident to a photodetector 15. A controlling circuit 16 controls the mirror 12 through a coil 12a in accordance with shift information detected by a wobbling method by vibrating the half-mirror 9 by a mirror driving circuit 17 and a coil 9a. A recording beam from a recording laser 3 forms a spot 6a on the medium 19 through a lens 10, the tracking mirror 12 and the lens 13, and executes recording exactly. Since the tracking mirror 12 is used in common for reference and recording use, the device is assembled, material and controller easily.
