Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an electronic tachograph or speedometer whose installation place is less limited, by detecting the output-side rotation of a tansmission part and then measuring a speed by converting the rotation into pulses. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of an engine reduced by a transmission part is transmitted to a driving shaft PS and then transferred to wheels. The rotation of the driving shaft PS is converted into pulses proportional to the rotational frequency of a pulse generator PGM. Those pulses are counted by a counter CNT for one second, and an electromagnetic solenoid EMS performs recording on pressure-sensitive paper PP in dot form.
