Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of an error in the printing manufacturing date printed on a label issued by the subject device and to facilitate settig of a valid date, by a method wherein a clock part and an operation part are additionally mounted at a control part in an electronic balance, and a printing part is further combined. CONSTITUTION:A clock part, which has an automatic calender function, is additionally attached to a control part in an electronic balance which has a function to print a manufacturing date on a label for the issuance, and an operation part, which automatically counts a valid date, is further attached to indicate and print the results. For example, a clock part 34, which always generates signals, such as dates, days of the week, is connected to a control part 32 in the electronic balance, which receives a weight signal from a weight detecting part 31, and through the operation of an operational part 26, a setting of an effective date and an automatic operation of a validity are performed. The results are indicated in an indicator 19, and are printed on a lebel by means of a printing part 33. The date and the like is automatically renewed thereupon, and thereby the occurrence of an error is prevented and processing is simplified.
