Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize the carburetor and make it conpact by arranging each carburetors closedly by a method wherein variable venturi type multiple carburetor is controlled by a single vacuum operating device. CONSTITUTION:A carburetor is controlled by a single vacuum operating device 14 so that the opening area of a venturi which is proper to the revolving number of an engine may be obtained. An operating rod 19 fixed to a vacuum piston 16 operates a pivoting lever 23 in accordance with the degree of the vacuum, pivots a pivoting shaft 10 into clockwise and moves the tip of a control arm 11 upwardly. In accompanied with this operation, a piston type throttle valve 4 is lifted up by the resilient force of a spring 7 to increase the opening area of the venturi section 22 in accordance with the revolving number of the engine and simultaneously the opening area of a fuel nozzle 6a, controlled by a jet needle 5, is increased.
