Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of a separately excited DC/DC converter circuit by supplying the flyback volage of a pulse transformer through a surge absorber circuit having a resistor, a capacitor and a diode to stabilized voltage, thereby reducing the current of a stabilized power source circuit. CONSTITUTION:When non-stabilized voltage is inputted to terminals a, b, stabilized voltage is generated from a stabilizing power source 1 to operate a pulse generator 3, and a pulse is outputted to a resistor 4. Thus, an output transistor repeats ON and OFF, but since the flyback voltage Vf is always higher than the output voltage V0 and the input voltage Vi, a current iA flows through a surge absorber circuit. This current i4 is smoothed to be constant, and that much is fed back to the power source 1, and the current i3 supplied to the pulse generator becomes less. As a result, the loss of the stabilized power source circuit is reduced.
