Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the size of receiver small with a simple circuit constitution and to reduce the power consumption, by controlling the ON-time of a switching transistor in response to a load and an input voltage and stabilizing the output voltage. CONSTITUTION:A boost-up winding 1 is wound to a horizontal output transformer 33 so that a voltage is superimposed on an unregulated DC input voltage at scanning, and a switching circuit is formed with a diode 2 and a transistor TR3 in series connection with the winding. On the other hand, the reference voltage level by a Zener diode 9 and the output level of an output voltage terminal are compared and a control pulse in pulse width modulation is produced in synchronizing with the horizontal synchronizing frequency, by a control pulse generating circuit 8. A TR4 controls switching between the base and the emitter of the TR3 controlled with this pulse. Thus, the base current of the TR3 is shunted with the TR4 for switching control of the TR3 to stabilize the output voltage.
