Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably operate a superconductive rotary electric machine by inserting a connecting wire for connecting between superconductive field coils into a plurality of short insulating tubes formed with notches at the ends and securing the tubes to the slot of a coil mounting shaft, thereby preventing the damages of the connecting wire and lead wire. CONSTITUTION:After an insulating tape 16 is spirally wound on the periphery of a connecting wire 3 made of superconductive material for connecting between superconductive field coils, the wire is inserted into a plurailty of short insulating tubes 28 having notches at the ends. The tubes are buried in the slot formed at a coil mounting shaft 2, a wedge 19 is inserted to the slot fixedly, and a gap 20 for flowing liquid helium is formed in advance at the portion of the shaft 2 corresponding to the notch 21 of the tube 18. In this manner, the wire 3 can be secured and effectively cooled.
