Abstract

PURPOSE:To arrange the recording region of a vertical synchronizing signal to a prescribed angle position, by operating a recording start device when synchronism is taken with a frame synchronizing signal and starting the recording. CONSTITUTION:A video signal is applied to an optical modulator 6 from a video signal supplying circuit 8 and an optical modulation beam is projected to a recording medium 1 from a head 4. A comparison amplifying circuit 12 compares a voltage of a reference voltage source 13 with a control voltage of a line 14 to drive a motor 3. When the recording is started, a synchronizing signal is generated from a synchronizing detection circuit 35 to turn off a switch 21 and to turn on a switch 23. A fixed voltage is given from a stabilized voltage supply circuit 22 to the line 14 in place of a speed detection voltage and a motor M rotates at a prescribed rotating speed. Thus, a vertical synchronizing signal is recorded on a radial straight line of the medium 1.
