Abstract

CONSTITUTION: After 8W15% ferric chloride based on the weight of the solids in sludge and 8W15% slaked lime are added to the sludge, 0.2W0.5% an org. flocculating agent anion polymer is added thereto, and the sludge is dehydrated with a dehydrator. Thereby, the water contents of, for example, the dehydrated cake, are reduced to about 70% and the dehydrated cake suited for incineration and composting is obtd. All the above-mentioned per cents are based on dry weight.
