Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration of quality of a coating film due to an additive by atomizing and mixing an additive for improving defects of coating film and painting in high speed air current and spurting the mixture from a nozzle to a fluid collision dispersing device as a mixture of ultrafine particles and then painting on the surface of an object to be painted.
CONSTITUTION: Additives such as a cessing preventive, glazing agent, dripping preventive etc. are contained in tanks 1, 2 and paint is put in a tank 10, and each of them is circulated in closed loops 4, 6, 13. Additives and paint are supplied to an atomizing mixing device 17 to which compressed air is sent in. The additives and paint are atomized and mixed in high speed compressed air current, spurted from a nozzle 25, and made to collide against a fluid collision dispersing device 21 and expanded and dispersed to all directions. They are further atomized and mixed and painted on the surface of an object to be painted. By this way, use of additives which cannot be mixed with paint beforehand is made possible, the change of property of paint due to additives is avoided and deterioration of the quality of coating film can be prevented.
