Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve an idle function, by utilizing performance of a hose being curved by a change of oil pressure.
CONSTITUTION: At power steering operation, a hose 13 changes its route to a position as shown by a virtual line 13'. In response to this change, a cable wire 16a turns to open a throttle valve. In this way, the throttle valve increases its opening degree at its fully closed position, and this amount of increase of opening is increased in accordance with the route displacement of the hose 13, that is, the load of an oil pump 1, to a value corresponding to idle speed of an engine. Accordingly, in whatever state of operation the power steeing may be, its meetable idle-up function can be obtained to prevent occurrence of engine stop failure.
