Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent numbers of photographs from being taken by mistake and an apparatus from being destroyed by a method wherein photographing conditions are surveyed and compared with the set value whereby abnormality is determined, and the results are notified to the user. CONSTITUTION:When the operator presses an X-RAY switch, a timer 10 sends a signal to high voltage control circuits 6, 7 and the high voltage in a high voltage generating circuit 32 is applied to an X-ray tube 31 for a period of time predetermined by the set value regarding exposure time (SEC). The X-ray exposure time is measured by a measuring instrument 12 and the measured value is inputted to CPU 4 via an A/D converter 13. The current flowing in an incident tube 31 is detected by a tube current detector 14 and the detected value is inputted to the CPU 4 via an A/D converter 15. The CPU 4 compares the measured values of tube voltage, tube current, X-ray exposure time with their set values each time one round of X-ray exposure is completed. When the difference is outside the tolerance and when such a difference occurs several times, the abnormal condition is displayed by lamp indicators 19-21.
