The partition body 4A is arranged slantwise to the bottom surface of the main casing 5 at the upper and lower sides or both end surface sides of the rotary type heat exhange element 1 in order to form the exhaust passage 2 and the suction passage 3. The room air is sucked from an indoor exhaust port 14 into an exhaust casing 6 and exhausted from an outdoor exhaust port 15 as exhaust flow.
