Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce moisture permeability by arranging nylon porous membranes containing a small amount of a water repellent as exchange membranes on each air passage in a cast body with a suction passage for taking the open air into a room and an exhaust passage for exhausting indoor air to the outside.
CONSTITUTION: Impellers 2, 3 for exhaust and suction are directly connected with an output shaft projected from the both sides of a motor portion 1 respectively, and the open air sucked by the suction impeller 3 from an open air introducing port 6 and the indoor air sucked by the exhaust impeller 2 from an indoor air introducing port 4 are guided to an exchanging body 8. Heat is exchanged through a large number of exchange membranes in the exchanging body 8 so as to prevent the discharge of heat to the outside when the indoor air is ventilated. In this case, as the exchange membranes are used nylon porous membranes in which metallic salt and/or organic matter are removed from thin membranes in nylon resin containing the metallic salts and/or the organic matter and a water repellent is contained in 0.005W2wt%.
