Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism and to avoid the restriction that is imposed by a light sensitive body, in the printing device wherein a light sensitive material is a recording medium, by providing a light shielding means which responds to a recording signal between a light souce and the light recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A light source holding body 3, wherein the part other than a lower opening part 3a is tightly closed, is fixed. An optical fiber plate 5 as a light transmitting support is closely contacted with the inner surface of the lower opening part 3a and fixed. One or plurality of dot shaped, reflecting type liquid crystl panels 7 as the light shielding means are contacted with the upper surface of the optical fiber plate 5 and arranged in a line shape. The liquid crystal panel 7 is formed so that the part, which responds to the electric signal of the supplied picture record and displys the picture, is opaque and shieds the light, and the remaining part other than that is transparent and transmits the light. The moving light sensitive medium is exposed, developed, and fixed.
