Abstract

PURPOSE:To always obtain adequate injection timing despite change of load in a pump through an oil hydraulic timer for adjusting the fuel injection timing, by applying delivery pressure of the oil pump to at least one of the advance and delay angle chambers in said timer. CONSTITUTION:An oil hydraulic timer 10 is constituted such that its input and output shafts are spline coupled in a casing (not shown) through a slider 13, and advance and delay angle chambers 11 and 12 are provided to both sides of the slider 13. Then the slider 13 selectively feeds pressure oil from an oil pump 15 to each chamber 11, 12 through a spool solenoid valve 14 to control fuel injection timing. In this case, a spool rand at a side of the advance angle chamber 11 in the solenoid valve 14 is formed with a notch (not shown) as a communication passage to always feed the pressure oil of the pump 15 to the advance angle chamber 11. In this way, the slider 13 can be prevented from inadequate movement due to change of load in the pump 15.
