Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the overall height of a transfer machine without diassebling it, by removing split nuts each of which secures a tie bar extending through mounting holes of a base frame and a cylinder frame, and introducing the tie bars into the base frame to reduce said overall height. CONSTITUTION:The cylinder frame 6 is secured on the base frmae 7, the four tie bars 2 are inserted into the mounting holes in the frame 6 and the frmae 7, and they are secured by nuts 4 located under the frame 6 and the split nuts 1 located on the frame 6. A reaction frame 3 secured to the tie bars 2 by nuts 4, and a slidable frame 5 is guided by the tie bars 2. To reduce the overall height, the nuts 1 are removed from the tie bars 2, which are lowered to be in contact with the frame 7, and then the nuts 1 are mounted and secured to the tie bars 2 under the frame 6 to become in contact with the frame 7.
