Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the dimensional accuracy of heat collecting plates easily, to increase production capacity and to reduce product costs by lap welding metallic pipes in the longitudinal direction of metallic fins for heat collection in such a way as to project the same from both end parts of the fins. CONSTITUTION:A fin F and a pipe P which are cut to prescribed sizes are conveyed by supply means 10 and 20 respectively, and are adhered tightly by a superposing means 30. When they pass through the free rollers 41 in a positioning means 40, a pair of photoelectric detecting means detect the entrance thereof, feed signals to a stopper 44 and a restraining machine 43, so that a positioning jig 442 and an upper driving roller 431 are moved upward simultaneously. The leading end of the fin F stops at the projecting face 442a of the jig 442, and the leading end of the pipe P stops at a grooved face 442b. Then, the 4 of the roller 431 descends and both end parts of the pipe projects by a constant size from the end face of the fin, whereby the superposing of the fin F and the pipe P is accomplished. Next, the jig 442 descends, and superposed members 45 are welded efficiently within a welding means 60. Thence, the welded members are cooled quickly in a cooling means 70, whereby the heat collecting plate is completed.
