Abstract
PURPOSE:To keep the watertightness of underground room, to minimize the quantity of excavation and to shorten the term of works by sinking and burying a precast concrete member into the ground. CONSTITUTION:Corner blocks 4 and wall blocks 5 made of precast concrete are erected and mounted to the outer circumference of a staging 2, and an erected wall body 3 having four sides is formed. PC steel bars are inserted to the sheath of the wall body 3 to tighten and fix the wall body. The waterproof processing of joints among the blocks 4 and the wall blocks 5 is conducted. The ground at the inside of the wall body 3 is excavated and discharged, and the wall body 3 is sunk successively into the ground. After excavation is completed, the staging 2 is removed, and the earth floor of the underground room is prepared. The earth floor is executed by forming a floor board unified with the wall body 3 onto the bottom excavated. A top block and the top section of the wall body 3 are fastened by means of bolts and nuts. The floor board and the joining joints of the top block and the wall body 3 are sealed.
