Abstract
PURPOSE: To utilize heat energy effectively by forming a circulating flow passage in the fore chamber of a heat treatment furnace, and subjecting the hot material from a heating chamber and the next material to be treated to heat exchanging on a moving table.
CONSTITUTION: While a material W1 is heated and soaked in a furnace body 2, a new material W2 is loaded into the 1st chamber 14a with a cylinder 11 through a loading-extracting door 7, and a fore chamber 6 is purged. Thence, the cylinder 11 is driven in a reverse direction and the material W1 heated to about 600°C is transferred from the body 2 into the 2nd chamber 14b, thence a circulation fan 10 is run. Namely, the high temp. material W1 and the low temp. material W2 coexist on a moving carriage 12, and both materials W1, W2 are exchanged of heat by the circulating flow developed by the fan 10, whereby the material W1 is cooled and the material W2 is preheated. Thence, the cylinder 11 is driven to charge the new material W2 through an intermediate door 5 into the body 2. The treated material W1 is extracted onto a charging-extracting table 15.
