Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent yielding of complicate thermal stress as well as effectively utilizing the space by partly unifying the tank of melted material at high temperature with hull construction. CONSTITUTION:The hull 1 has double bottom structure 2, and the plural number of tanks 3 to accomodate melted material at a high temperature are parallely arranged in the hull. The tank wall 4 of the each tank 3 is arranged almost parallel to it inside the ship's outer board 5 to be and front and after walls of the tank 10 are arranged perpendicularly to the central face of the ship. The bottom plate 7 of the each tank 3 is common with the inner bottom plate of the double bottom structure 2, and the top plate 9 is installed on the lower side of the upper deck 1a being seprated and almost in parallel with it. As for the lateral bulkhead 6, only the center part of the tank 3 is integrated with it. As for the heat prevention means, non pressure resisting and non liquid tight heat prevention layer 8 is stretched on the upper side of the tank's bottom plate 7, and heat prevention layer 11 is stretched over the outer surface of the other tanks.
