Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the work on the sea, and efficiently construct the ocean construction having wider width than the dock by constructing the major part of them in the dock. CONSTITUTION:First, a pair of right and left lower floating bodies 4, 4 are constructed in the condition being arranged mutually parallel, on the blocks 6 and 6. Then, upper floating body 3 which is wider than the width of the dock 1, is constructed as the left half body 3a and the right half body 3b, installing necessary number of connection blocks 10 and 11 to the under side of each of the connecting edge part, then connect by plugging each other, making the upper part of the floating body 3 free to fold. Then, the upper floating body 3 is constructed in the two folded state stretching over the inclined supporting float bodies 5, 5 to the left and right sides. This structure 2a is launched to the sea, and temporarilly constructed connecting beam 8 is removed, and the left and right half bodies 3a and 3b of the upper floating body 3 in folded condition are expanded to the flat condition by contracting the oil jack 15, to make it wider than the width of the dock 1.
