Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the steering performance at the time of sudden handle operation during the high speed running by providing a valve which connects or isolates the high pressure passage and the low pressure passage according to the car speed and a valve which constricts the opening of the passage corresponsing to the pressure generated at a power cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A power cylinder 12 has a control valve 17 which connects or isolates the high pressure side passage and the low pressure side passage by the discharge pressure of a trochoid pump 20 driven by an engine, said control valve 17 being provided with a valve 36 which connects passages 29 and 31 by the pressurized oil from the trochoid pump 20 and also a valve 42 which controls the openings of said passages 29 and 31. Thus, the passages 29 and 31 are connected by the discharge pressure of the pump 20. When the steering handle is operated suddenly in such condition the pressure in one of the passages increases to actuate the valve 42 thereby constricting the opening of the other passage to reduce the heaviness of the steering handle operation.
